Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale opens to the public on July 15th and ends August 4, 2024. I’ve gone through the site and curated a number of looks for you inspired by the fashion and beauty items offered in the sale event.

This blazer by SPANX is super versatile- wear to work, day to night look, wear to dinner and can be dressed up with accessories like the modern half moon style handbag by JW PEI or heels by Karl Lagerfeld Paris. It can also be worn with jeans for a more casual look. The short sleeve ruffle metallic top is by Vince Camuto and the booties are Veronica Beard. If you’re looking to treat yourself to a luxury piece, the Bony Levy Monaco Diamond Drop Earrings are stunning and on sale.

Below are some of my favorite must have travel pieces from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. If you’re traveling I definitely recommend an ECCO sneaker or walking shoe. They are the best and so comfortable. I’ve walked miles in ECCO shoes on many trips and my feet never hurt. There are two amazing Beis products featured; a 21-inch carry on roller bag as well as a large matching pink duffle bag.

I love the beautiful jewel tones of this Eliza J teal ruffle trim long sleeve dress and FRAME blouse in dragon fruit. The multi color Kurt Geiger London shoulder bag can be used for day or evening. The Swarovski oval sunglasses are decorated with a crystal on each side. The linear drop earrings by Deepa Gurani are available in multiple colors. Valentine’s Day Style Inspo

Red is a bold powerful color that often symbolizes passion, love and energy. It’s one of my favorite colors to wear. Here are a couple red hot looks I created for Valentine’s Day. All of the items are available on Amazon and the links are highlighted.

The jumpsuit is by Black Halo and is very elegant. With three quarter length sleeves and cropped pant style, this jumpsuit can be worn year round for a variety of occasions. Accessorize with a double strand necklace such as the Swarovski Women’s Ginger Rose-gold finish Layered Pendant Necklace. The matching Swarovski bracelet complements the style of the look nicely.

The Black Halo Women’s Jackie O Belted Dress pictured above is one of Black Halo’s classic dresses and is always in style. The asymmetrical neckline makes the design both interesting and sophisticated. Rose gold accessories displayed are Kendra Scott. How cute are these Kendra Scott Sophee Heart Hoop Earrings! I love the look of a cuff bracelet, so I included the Kendra Scott Fallyn Cuff Bracelet.

The heart shaped purse is festive for Valentine’s Day. The bag can be worn two ways since the crossbody strap is removable. Classic glam make-up is always in style for Valentine’s Day. Here I showed a couple of my favorites: a retro red lipstick staple – Ruby Woo lipstick by MAC and classic black liquid eyeliner – Kat Von D tattoo liner in trooper.

I really love the Serajean Ferrara handbag pictured above because it can be worn so many ways. It’s great for travel because it can be used as a handbag or a wallet. The interior features three sections, a sewn in zip coin purse, and sewn in credit card holders. The bag comes with two straps: a metal chain strap – perfect for evening; and a leather strap – for a daytime crossbody look. I also like that it can be used as a clutch purse.

Shoe & Handbag Maintenance

Store your shoes & purses in cloth bags. Many shoes and purses will come with the bags, if not you may want to invest in some. A drawstring cloth bag will maintain the shape of the handbag (handles) and prevent shoes and handbags from getting dirty or dusty. This will keep your shoes and purses looking band new. If you don’t have access to a cloth bag for your shoes, definitely store the shoes in a shoe box. Also, stuff tissue paper in the toe of your shoes to prevent the shoe from loosing its shape. Properly maintaining your shoes and handbags will allow the accessories to last longer; saving you money in the long run!
